About the Roseville Chapter

Thank you for your support of the Roseville Chapter, I am Happy Project. Our mission is to spread happiness within our community and bring happiness into the schools, spreading happiness one classroom at a time. On average a classroom of 25-30 children, cost about $300 for supplies. Our goal in 2012, is to go into 100 classrooms right in the Roseville area and school districts. We meet thru the year, at chapter meetings, events and other things, to help raise awareness and funds for our mission of spreading happiness. 1ST Iamhappyproject Community & Family Festival- Feb.11th 2012

We were so excited to kick off the new year and revive the Roseville Chapter, we began it with a Community & Family Festival, in honor of WorldWide Happiness Day (2/11). We all met at Royer Park in Roseville Ca bright and early in the morning, preparing for a wonderful day of fun and the spreading of happiness. As the vendors arrived, began setting up- the weather was threatening us of raining- as we all trimbled of "what if's" the day turned out to be wonderful. Overcast all day, but no rain in site- what a great turn out of over 70+ vendors and a crowd of easily 200 people (including kids) came thru our event. Early morning coffee was provided by Sherry from Pups N Cups, thank goodness. Great Sounds from Greg from Music To Go all day long. Special music performed by
Mattie Holliday. We grubbed on delicious food from Dave's Dawgs and LB Soul Food. We even had Twinkle and Kandy out from Magic Clown Family blowing up balloons and entertaining the children. Guess Who showed up and surprised us all, 3 of the Kings Dancers walked around taking pictures and signing autographed pictures for the crowd. What a blast the day was... full of laughter, fun, live music, dancing, wonderful vendors and great community support. Thank you to all who came out.

A big thank you to the Festival Sponsors- 4 His Highest Printing (thanks Kristin) supplied our volunteer shirts and online flyers. Angel Printing (thanks Sarah) supplied our festival banners and the flyers we gave out the day of the festival.
